Neiman Group Dominates Philadelphia Addys Taking Best of Show and 19 Gold Awards

Agency wins more awards than any other agency for second year in a row

PHILADELPHIA (March 6, 2009)—For the second year in a row, Neiman Group dominated the Philadelphia ADDY Awards winning three of the six "Best Of" awards along with 19 gold and six silver awards in a variety of categories. The overall Best of Show award came for Full Apologies, the agency's hard-hitting mixed/multi-media public service campaign developed for the Pennsylvania Department of Health to battle teen drinking and driving. The ADDY Awards competition was held last night, March 5, at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Along with its Best of Show award, Neiman Group also took the Best of Print category for its Harbour House Crabs campaign and "Best of Public Service" for Full Apologies.

The ADDY Awards, Sponsored by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), are the industry's largest and most representative competition for creative excellence. Dozens of Philadelphia and New Jersey advertising agencies compete annually for these prestigious awards that recognize the creative talent within the industry.

"We have great people and great clients," said agency CEO Tim Reeves. "It's a potent combination."

A panel of distinguished industry leaders judged the competition. They were Susan Betteridge, VP Creative Director, DraftFCB, Chicago; Mitch Gordon, Senior Partner, Group Creative Director, Ogilvy & Mather, Chicago; Tiffany Young, Executive Creative Director, Smashing Ideas, Seattle; Alan Russell, Chief Creative Officer, DDB, Vancouver, BC; Paul Osen, Associate Creative Director, Vigilante Advertising, New York; and Lewis Williams, EVP Chief Creative Officer, Burrell, Chicago.

"We work so hard to help clients achieve objectives," said Hutson Kovanda, Neiman Group's executive creative director. "It's really nice to sit back and receive recognition from your peers, and give their work recognition too."

Vice President, Strategy & Insights Amy Muntz couldn't agree more.

"We live and breathe the work that we do," said Muntz. "We are in the business to make a difference for clients, and hopefully in people's lives, so these ADDYs really mean a lot to us."
