Neiman Group CEO Tim Reeves Elected Chair of WITF Board of Directors
HARRISBURG (December 5, 2008) - WITF, the capital region's public media organization, has announced the election of Tim Reeves CEO, Neiman Group as Chair of its Board of Directors.
Tim Reeves joined the board in 2001 and has served on the Executive Committee for four years. Reeves will guide the organization through the first geographic expansion of FM service (93.3 FM in Chambersburg) since 1971 and the continued transition to digital television.
Reeves' career includes serving as Governor Tom Ridge's Press Secretary and Director of Communications, and is the longest-serving gubernatorial press secretary in Pennsylvania history. Prior to joining Gov. Ridge, Reeves was an award-winning journalist. He covered state government from Harrisburg as a reporter for both the Pittsburgh Post- Gazette and The Morning Call of Allentown. A resident of Hershey, Reeves began his career as a reporter for the York Daily Record.
