Neiman Group Wins Big In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA (March 7, 2008) - Neiman Group was the No. 1 winner at the 2008 ADDY Awards Celebration held on Thursday, March 6 at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The agency won 10 gold and 13 silver awards - more than any other agency, according to the Philadelphia Ad Club which sponsored the event. Neiman Group won for its work in newsprint, magazine, television, outdoor, point-of-purchase, non-traditional, and illustration. The ADDY Awards competition is the industry's largest and most representative competition for creative excellence.

Neiman Group, with Philadelphia-based clients including: Temple University, the University of Pennsylvania Health System; MLS Philadelphia, the new major league soccer team coming to the city in 2010; and Alfred Angelo, recently announced the opening of an Old City office as just one in a string of significant developments for the Harrisburg-based agency over the last year.

Since July 2007 Neiman Group has hired Don Transeth, a former V.P., Marketing and Brand Innovation at EA Sports, as their V.P. of Client Services; moved their interactive services in-house; hired Strategic Planner Amy Muntz; and most recently announced the agency was hired by video game producer 2K Sports to produce a national advertising campaign that is currently airing for their latest 2K8 Major League Baseball video game.

Sponsored by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the ADDY Awards are designed to honor advertising excellence and to cultivate the highest standards in the industry. The three-tiered competition starts at the local event with the Philly Ad Club and the 210 AAF member clubs around the nation. The local Gold winners advance to the 14 competitions regionally. Winners of the District competition then advance to the National competition.
